Complementing Government Efforts

By supporting our initiative, we can collectively contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, specifically for the OTI Region. Let’s think outside the box and work together to make a difference.

To achieve this, NARNGO has put together some generational strategic positive thinkers, talents, tacticians, strategists, professionals, researchers, economists, experts and planners among others to respond positively to Government’s call to join hands to help solve the numerous problems facing Ghana, hence this collaboration.

In so doing we will bring government to the people and the people’s issues, concerns and aspirations, to the government for urgent redress.

We shall promote discipline, mutual respect, good morals, positive attitude, good character building, tolerance, peaceful co-existence, love, hard work, motivation, welfare, talents, can-do-spirit, patriotism, and God fearing behavior amongst all and sundry in all the Municipal and Districts in the OTI Region.

WHAT WE INTEND TO ACHIEVE IN THE PHASE 2 OF THE ACTION PLAN IS AS FOLLOWS:

  • To establish Cooperative Agribusiness and non-Agribusiness ventures, to create jobs in OTI Region.
  • Venture into Mechanised farming, Greenhouses, and Skill Training Centres in all the districts in the OTI Region.
  • To meet the feeding consumption demand of the OTI Region, bring down food inflation in the OTI Region and to add value and EXPORT in order to earn the nation foreign exchange and to support the national economy.
  • To help the unskilled / uneducated unemployed Youth to acquire skills in all the Municipal and Districts of OTI.
  • To mitigate the suffering of the jobless, the retired and Senior Citizens etc. in all the Municipal and Districts in the OTI Region through our Feeding Ghana Project.
  • To strategically introduce in each identified community, a Canteen to Feed the Hungry/ Elderly/ Widow/ Orphan / Jobless / Apprentice / Trainee / National Service Persons with nutritious and healthy daily food / meals in all the Municipal and Districts in the OTI Region in order to achieve at least United Nations Sustainable Development Goals one & two (SDGs1 & 2) for the Oti Region thanks to the OTI TVET mechanized Farming projects.
  • To provide food and Agriculture products where need be to support all Educational Institutions to relieve Government of feeding grants in all the Municipal and Districts in OTI in order to achieve SDGs1& 2 for the Oti Region thanks to the OTI TVET mechanized Farming projects.
  • To provide food and Agriculture products to the Vulnerable, the Elderly in all the Municipal and Districts in OTI in order to achieve at least United Nations SDGs1 & 2.
  • To promote aggressively dieting, nutritious and healthy lifestyle as we eat what we grow and grow what we eat in Ghana in all the Municipal and Districts in OTI.

This concept will lead to complementing Government’s food self-sufficiency and security towards achieving SDGs.
