The Oti Regional TVET Directorate is actively engaged in the planning and development of strategic projects aimed at strengthening technical and vocational education and training across the region. These upcoming and proposed initiatives span the construction of residential facilities, administrative offices, modern TVET infrastructure, and capacity-building centers. We invite development partners and donor organizations to explore these impactful projects and consider supporting our vision of empowering skilled youth for sustainable development.

Proposed Office Building of OTI Regional TVET Service.

A modern administrative complex designed to serve as the regional hub for coordinating and managing TVET activities across Oti. This facility will enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder engagement.

Proposed Standard Residence for Directors and TVET Principals

This standard residence is purpose-built to provide Directors and TVET Principals with a serene, secure, and well-appointed living environment. Designed to reflect the dignity of their roles, the facility ensures comfort, privacy, and proximity to administrative and academic functions.

Designed for comfort and functionality, this residential facility provides spacious, secure housing for TVET staff and facilitators—ensuring dignified accommodation that supports productivity and well-being in the technical and vocational education sector.

A state-of-the-art facility equipped with modern classrooms, workshops, and digital labs—purpose-built to deliver hands-on technical training and academic instruction for TVET students across disciplines.

Administrative Structure of the Region

As specified in CI 112 of 2019, the Oti Region is made up of eight (8) existing administrative districts and the SALL Area consisting of the four Traditional Areas of Santrokofi, Akpafu, Lolobi, and Likpe which have just been constituted into a new District called Guan with its Capital at Likpe Mate. The Guan District is yet to be inaugurated. The Regional Coordinating Council: The Regional Coordinating Council was inaugurated in July 2019. The composition consists of the Regional Minister, the Municipal and District Chief Executives and Presiding Members of the 8 Municipal and District Assemblies, Two Representatives of the Regional House of Chiefs, and the Regional Heads of Departments who are ex-officio members.
