About Ghana TVET Service – Oti Region
Welcome to the official website of the Ghana TVET Service – Oti Region. We are proud to be part of a national transformation agenda that seeks to reimagine and reposition Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a catalyst for economic development and youth empowerment.
Who We Are
The Ghana TVET Service was established under the Pre-Tertiary Education Act, 2020 (Act 1049) as a corporate body to manage, oversee, and implement national policies and programmes related to pre-tertiary TVET. It brought together TVET institutions previously operating under nine different ministries—including GES-TVED, NVTI, GRATIS, and others—under the Ministry of Education to ensure coherence, efficiency, and a unified direction for technical education across Ghana.
At the regional level, the Oti Regional TVET Service works to implement these national objectives while tailoring our initiatives to the unique strengths and potential of the Oti Region.
Our Vision
To be a beacon of innovation and excellence in technical and vocational education in Ghana, driven by the natural resources, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant agricultural economy of the Oti Region.
Our Mission
To provide quality, relevant, and accessible technical education that equips the youth of Oti with practical skills to drive economic development. We strive to achieve this by:
Building the capacity of staff and master craft persons
Modernizing training facilities to meet industry standards
Fostering strong partnerships with industry players
Attracting investors to create jobs and expand economic opportunities
Strategic Collaboration
To deliver on our mission, we have partnered with a Strategic Consortium made up of experts in funds mobilization, strategy, and operational execution. This collaboration strengthens our ability to address challenges, scale innovations, and create long-lasting impact.

We invite individuals, institutions, and stakeholders to explore our programs, engage with our initiatives, and support our shared goal of building a prosperous future through skills development.
